Vance stood at the front of the classroom, by his desk. He paced back and forth as he strummed a rock rhythm on his guitar. He glanced up to the students that began to enter the room and take their seats, having 2 assignments in mind but which he chose would depend on the level of energy the class displayed as they entered. "....hmm..."
When the class was all present he slowly put down the guitar and sat on the edge of his desk, looking over them ".....Wow you lot look miserable..." He chuckled a little. He hoped his own over-energetic nature would liven them up a little. "Alright....I had 2 ideas in mind for your assignment, but which one was dependant on your attitudes as you came in..." :/
He hopped off the desk and began wandering around the classroom "....You gave me my answer, you need to do something engaging....so....Your assignment is simple; make an instrument." He went silent, letting that sink in and observing the bemused looks on the faces of the students. ".....Let me explain, I want you all to make me a basic instrument out of everyday items..."
He walked over to the chalkboard and made a quick doodle of a makeshift guitar made out of a Cardboard tube, Empty tissue box, Tape and String. "...See?...simple and basic.....I want you all to decide on an instrument, gather what ever materials you need, put them together and then next lesson present it to the class, explaining what instrument you chose, why you chose it?, a little information about the instrument, what materials you chose and where you found them? and then how you put it together......This will give me a grasp on your individual levels of creativity..."Your task!
